My name is Inger Hava Katz - and I wish to welcome you to my blog. (Hilsner og en varm velkomst ... is Danish for 'Greetings and a warm welcome')
My desire is to share with you the joys and experiences of my life. There have been some 'downs' but many 'ups'.
There is no 'life' if everything is sweet like sugar. There has to be some bitter or sour, like lemon, to go along with it.
I used to say to my friends and family 'I am RICH' - but not with money. But experiences, family and friends ... love, too.
Not the romantic sugar love, but the love from Above. From our Loving God. In other words, I am a Christian. And from that my life experiences flow.
Some 45 years ago, it was not so...
Before this gets too long as an 'introduction' about who I am and about me, I better tell a little more.
I was born in Denmark - soon to be 71 years ago. I met my husband there. We got married in 1966.
We have three children, six grandkids and Emy. I will tell you about my lovely Emy as time goes by.
In Denmark, I have five siblings, two nieces, two nephews, and a few cousins I am still in contact with.
My husband, Arthur Katz, passed away five years ago this June.
I still live here in Minnesota at Ben Israel - a community he founded over 35 years ago. My husband was a special godly man and lived the way he preached. You will learn about him and Ben Israel as time goes by.
In 2007, I learned I had aggressive breast cancer and had about one year to live. BUT, here I am four years later, doing quite well by the grace of god. I did not do 'chemo' and all the things that go along with that. I went on a special diet (Vegan).
I am not so radical anymore. The cancer has advanced into the bones, but even so I am still here - thanking God every day for the life he gives me. The bonus is I am not in much pain. Hardly any. I will add here that I am on medication (but again, not much) and am strong.
May God bless you as you follow me down the road of life.
Warmest and sincere greetings,
Inger Hava

I am now praying for you and your family daily, sister Inger. I respect you as a believer in Yeshua/Jesus our Lord. Truly you are a Proverbs 31 woman and Art a Psalm 112 man. God will fulfill that which he began in you and Art.

Just read your book "Art Katz: A Treasure in an Earthen Vessel". God gave you such a love for this man and you stayed the course. What a wonderful example of faithfulness in the midst of trials. To be able to remember all the good things and honor and love your husband with this lovely book. Thank you, Sister Inger.

I will have to meet you on the other side of glory now, sister Inger. I just learned that you went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2013. May the Lord continue to bless and keep Art's and your children and grandchildren.
